Restore Function, Beauty and Confidence with Dental Implants

Are you missing one or multiple teeth? You’re not alone. Tooth loss is extremely common, affecting around 180 million U.S. adults. If you have missing teeth you know it can affect the way you speak, what you eat and even how you interact with others. There are many replacement options available, but none compare in security, aesthetics and functionality.

Dental implants are the closest thing to your natural teeth and are highly favored as the ideal choice for replacing teeth because, with proper care, they are permanent. Our experienced dentists place and restore single and multiple dental implants in-house that look, function and feel natural, so you can enjoy a confident smile that lasts a lifetime. Our practice treats patients from all over Pinellas County including Tarpon Springs, FL.

If you are missing just one or a few teeth, our team can place a dental implant to seamlessly fill the gap. Fitted with a custom crown, no one will be able to tell you’re missing a tooth.

By placing between two and eight dental implants in an arch, we can attach your existing, or a new, denture for beautiful aesthetics and security. You will not need to worry about your dentures slipping or clicking, since they are securely attached.

If you have had teeth missing for some time and experienced bone loss, we can place around four dental implants in strategic areas in the jaw with the most volume. These implants hold a prosthetic bridge that is only removable by our dentist. This gives you a complete smile without a denture or loose-fitting device.

5/5

Dr. Knellinger’s office is many things, all of which are done well. They are ready when you come. They do the best job! They are up to date on the latest technologies. Details are important! A personal story … I left them for a while in hopes of getting a major costly job, a bridge, done cheaper by someone else. I left that other dentist before they could make the bridge mold seeing the huge difference in expertise of the dentist and the chaos in their office. I could have lost the small amount of tooth I had left to attach the bridge to. I would have needed false teeth at that point. Maybe not the end of the world but I am not ready for that and, false teeth are also expensive! Dr. Knellinger’s office took me back in such a kind way without ever making me feel embarrassed. They are really skilled dentist and when it comes to saving your teeth it’s really worth doing it right or not at all.

Dental Implants 101

Dental implants are made up of three parts: a titanium post that is surgically placed in the jawbone and acts like a natural tooth root, a custom crown and an abutment piece that securely attaches the two.

The Dental Implant Process

Whether you are having one or multiple dental implants placed, our skilled dentists place the implants in the most ideal position and allow them to heal with the bone for the most secure fit. After they have been allowed to heal, we create a custom restoration piece that will complete your smile. All of this can be done in our office so you can conveniently restore your smile.

The Unique Benefits of Dental Implants

Besides being highly aesthetic, dental implants are the only tooth replacement option that prevent bone deterioration after tooth loss. The other unique benefits of dental implants include:

Permanent Tooth Replacement

Unlike other options, dental implants will not slip or fall out, and don’t need replacing! With proper at-home care and regular dental visits, your implant(s) can last you the rest of your life.

Look and Feel Natural

Because dental implants are secured into your jaw bone, they feel just like your natural teeth; there’s no shifting. The crown is designed to match your other teeth so it blends in seamlessly.

Maintain Your Facial Shape

When a tooth is lost the supporting bone begins to deteriorate almost immediately. If left untreated for some time, bone loss can alter the way your face looks. Dental implants stimulate the bone like natural tooth roots, and prevent bone loss.

Replace One or Many Teeth

Whether you are missing one or multiple teeth, dental implants can address any situation. In the case of multiple tooth loss, we can determine whether multiple implants or a full-arch option is best for you.
